Bilingual Pension Specialist (#375) – The Pension & Severance Department has openings for a full time Bilingual Pension Specialist in the Sparks office. This position requires, among other things, strong clerical skills including proficient use of a keyboard number pad, good math skills, proficiency on Word and Excel, good keyboarding skills, the ability to compose good business letters, and the ability to communicate clearly with participants, professionals and colleagues. This person must also have good organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks. Strong attention-to-detail skills are required. The Bilingual Pension Specialist will calculate pension benefits in accordance with fund rules, communicate pension information to participants by letter, phone, and in person, and will perform miscellaneous duties as assigned. Fluency in Spanish is required.  Ability to translate verbal and written communications is an asset.


Participant Services Representative (#381) – The Participant Services Department has an opening for a full time Participant Services Representative in the Landover office. This position requires, among other things, computer literacy, good keyboarding skills, good organizational skills, the ability to prioritize, and the ability to communicate well with participants, professionals, and colleagues. A Participant Services Rep must also possess a great deal of patience and the capacity to learn the many different plans of benefits and communicate this knowledge to participants. Fluency in Spanish is an asset.
